CANADIAN PENNY IDOL

The Canadian Penny Idol will be determined through a 4 round voting process as follows:

ROUND 1

All pennies entered will take part in round 1 voting. They are displayed in 4 groups and can be viewed by choosing one of the group buttons located at the bottom of this page. The name of the owner and brief description of why the penny should be selected as the Penny Idol accompanies an images of both sides of each penny.

Voting period:  July 24 - August 11

The 50 pennies with the most votes will continue onto round 2.

ROUND 2

Voting period:    August 14 - September 1

The 10 pennies with the most votes will continue onto round 3.

ROUND 3

In round 3, in addition to appearance and background story, the penny will also be required to showcase their spinning talents.

Voting period:   September 4 - September 22

The 3 pennies with the most votes will continue onto the final round.

ROUND 4 (FINALE)

Final voting period:   September 25 - October 6

On October 10, 2006, Canada’s favorite penny will be announced here.
